Based on 3 different cornish myths; the first, about a shipwreck in St. Agnes called The Hanover which had a little spanish/Portuguese treasure on it! The second from The Harbour breweries story of Trevose Head and the Giant Octopus, a story of a great octopus who guided ships to safety in stormy weather but ate a few too many of a local farmer's sheep who then got his revenge! The final story is The Mermaid of Zennor; a love story between a mermaid and a man.

Illustrated book
This is my final book for a project i started at the beginning of this year at university, Its taken from a factual text on mandrake root which i made into a short story about a witch who runs out of mandrake roots for a love potion and turns her servant into a mandrake.

End of the Road
Robbie and I after shaking William Elliott Whitmore's hand and he even complimented me on my headband. He was definitely one of the highlights of the festival.
one of the many art installations around the festival, this one a little bird hung up by balloons we suspected it was Kai Wong design as he does all the illustrations for end of the road, he's brilliant!
DEER TICK taken by my friend Fran Walker.
this was actually their secret set and it was so awesome, they came on with these celebrity masks on which was hilarious and then towards the end John McCauley went rock and roll and played the guitar with a particular body part!
Alessi's Ark taken by me, she was so awkwardly cool and the way she sings is so interesting with the way she makes different sounds with her mouth especially in her song bird song. She was one of my favourites along with mountain man, the low anthem and basically every band we saw!
This was a printed illustrated tea towel i bought from rough trade shop at EOTR, nearly ready for university now.. and also this lovely illustrated book by Matt Sewell, i love the painted birds and the compositions of them, also the clever characteristics given to each bird comparing them to old professors and young scallywags.

White chocolate & raspberry cheesecake
Now to carefully transport 2 of theese to Robbie's for this evening as i'm making him dinner and these yummy white chic and raspberry cheesecakes. He's had a long week of work so he deserves a nice treat! I'm also going to be making him a melted goats cheese salad with roasted root vegetables from my new Rachel Khoo cooking book! My brother had one as soon as i had finished putting whipped cream on top and scoffed it down so found it a bit sickly so i added the raspberry bits, lemon zest and grind to level out the flavours. I think its the most cooking i've done in a week! Me and my friend sarah made a lovely dinner on thursday, she took some pictures so i'll try and post them on here soon.
